French text Les cieux en chacun lieu La puissance de Dieu Racontent aux humains. Ce grand entour épars Publie en toutes pars L'ouvrage de ses mains; Jour après jour coulant Du Seigneur va parlant Par longue expérience. La nuit suivant la nuit Nous presche et nous instruit De sa grand sapience.

English translation The heavens, in every place declare the power of God and tell it to humankind. This vast scattered expanse proclaims in every part the work of His hands; Day after day flowing on it speaks of the Lord through deep experience. Night following night preaches to us and teaches us about His great wisdom.
